Job description:
Airmid Staffing are currently seeking a Paediatric Nurse for one of our paediatric packages of care. You will be supported by our Complex Care Coordinators in delivering a solid care experience for our children requiring complex care and their families involved.
Airmid Staffing are a complex care provider for both physical and mental health needs across the UK and support those with PHB’s, CHC funded, case management as well as private clients. We work with all ages and all types of care. We understand that healthcare can bring with it a lot of emotions, and many of our clients are going through some of the most trying times of their lives.
We provide kind, compassionate, and patient support that ensures our client feels comfortable and safe in our care. We provide tailored care and support. In high-pressure situations, we strive to be a calming force that can make a positive difference.
Main Purpose of Role:
Will be to care for a lovely little girl who is 1 yr old and was born with Congenital Conditions including Cerebral Palsy, Encephalopathy, Epilepsy and Dystonia, Learning Disabilities. Day Shifts and night shifts available, 8-10 hour shifts, Part-time hours.
Specialist tasks required include
- Oral Suctioning
Oxygen Therapy
PEG/Mic Key Button
Medication Administration
Seizure/Dystonia
You must:
• Ensure feedback is obtained from each service user/ family to improve the service.
• Ensure safe practices are always observed.
• Contribute to external regulatory and compliance inspections
• Comply with regular auditing of nurse logs and documentation
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and advise on adjustments of treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care for patients
• Provide support to patients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Skills:
• Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in paediatric nursing
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Proficiency in medication administration
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
