Care Worker – Supporting Young People with SEND

Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs? A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Hillingdon is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join their team this September.

• Provide individualised care and support to students with SEND.
• Assist with personal care needs in a respectful and dignified manner.
• Support students in managing challenging behaviours using a calm and constructive approach.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families to implement care plans.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and life skills in daily activities.

• Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Previous experience as a care assistant or in a similar role, ideally in an SEND or educational setting.
• A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting students.

• A genuine passion for working with young people with additional needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• A proactive and positive attitude towards learning and development.

• A supportive and inclusive school community.
