Overview
Care Assistant - day shifts - immediate start at Golders Green, NW11. Work flexibly around your family or other commitments, we can offer between 24 and 36 hours per week. We are recruiting Care Assistants to our residential care homes in Barnet. We care for older persons / older persons living with dementia.
Responsibilities- Duties will include personal care, moving and handling, mealtime support, social activities, and those other tasks required to support our residents through their lives.
- You will build strong relationships with all those around you, making sure family and friends feel welcomed, that health care professionals are kept well-informed, and that you are keeping your team leader up to speed with residents needs and progress.
- You will also help our residents to live a full life; to be more independent, to enjoy their daily activities, and to exercise choice in their day-to-day living.
- Whether you are assisting your team leader, completing care records, or lending someone a hand to eat their lunch, you will make all the residents you care for feel safe, comfortable and secure. In other words, you will make them feel right at home.
- Pay rates start at £12.25 per hour, and increase depending on your experience and qualifications.

- Must be flexible to work shifts on a rota basis.

- You may have completed your QCF 1-5 (equivalent NVQ 2 or 3 in Care).
