We are seeking self‑motivated individuals with an interest in the physiotherapy treatment of patients with neuro‑disability. The ideal candidates will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, and relevant experience of working with people with disabilities. Logical problem‑solving skills and the ability to cope effectively and flexibly in difficult situations is essential. Good self‑organisational and time‑management skills, together with an understanding of the purpose of rehabilitation are key requirements of the role.
Working closely with Physiotherapy Therapy and wider Therapy team members, your role will involve assisting within allocated clinical activities and administrative tasks as directed. As a Technical Instructor you will be based on the Behavioural Services but have the opportunity to work across the different specialist areas of the RHN as required.
We offer you the opportunity to contribute to the continuing development of our services for individuals with complex disabilities. Self‑development is encouraged through supportive teamwork, training opportunities and supervision.
Situated within beautiful gardens and grounds, the Royal Hospital for Neuro‑disability (RHN) is a leading national centre of excellence and one of the longest‑running charities and independent hospitals in the UK. Set in a stunning Grade II listed Victorian building, the RHN provides adult person‑centred services across the entire care pathway from post‑acute rehabilitation to end‑of‑life carefor people with complex neuro‑disabilities and their families.
Underpinned by a strong research and education framework, the RHN is more than a hospital; it is a vibrant community where residents engage in music, art, and holistic support to achieve the best possible quality of life.
