Overview

The Queens Park and Paddington Mental Health Hub is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative psychologist to work in a multi‑disciplinary service designed to deliver a new model of care working closely with Primary Care Networks and other community services. The post-holder will work in Queens Park and Paddington Mental Health Hub, offering a range of community‑based interventions for clients presenting with a range of complex emotional and social difficulties.

The team works with clients with severe and enduring mental health problems including psychosis, bipolar affective disorder, complex emotional needs, recurrent depression and complex PTSD. The post holder will be responsible for providing psychology services and improving clinical outcomes for service users.

At the heart of our service is a strong emphasis on collaboration and team work. The post holder will have a strong commitment to multi‑disciplinary working, gaining an understanding of the interventions other disciplines provide and offering support/consultation. This is imperative as we work together to provide interventions in line with the recovery model. Experience of working with diversity in a multicultural setting is essential.

By joining our supportive group of psychologists you will have opportunities for further training and career development through our continuing professional development (CPD) programmes.
