Job summaryThe Triage Paramedic will work as an autonomous clinician within the GP practice to provide same-day clinical triage, assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients presenting with urgent or acute health needs. The role aims to improve access to timely care, reduce GP workload, and ensure patients are directed to the most appropriate service.

Greenhill Park Medical Centre is a NHS GP surgery in North West London, serving patients in the Harlesden and Neasden areas. It forms part of a group of GP services alongside Neasden Medical Centre and St Andrews Medical Centre, all operating under the Neasden-Greenhill Park and St Andrews Medical Centres partnership.

- Sound knowledge of primary care pathways, escalation routes, and community services
- Ability to identify red flags, safeguarding concerns, and clinical risk
- Understanding of NICE guidance, evidence-based practice, and clinical governance
- HCPC registration as a Paramedic
- Evidence of relevant post-registration CPD
- Degree (BSc) or equivalent qualification in Paramedic Science or related discipline
- Evidence of ongoing professional development aligned with autonomous practice
- Minimum 1 year post-registration experience as a Paramedic
- Demonstrable experience of autonomous clinical assessment and decision-making
- Experience managing undifferentiated patients with acute and urgent conditions
- Experience conducting telephone and/or remote clinical assessments
- Experience of risk assessment, prioritisation, and clinical triage
- Experience working within urgent care, emergency care, or primary care environments
