5 days per week (1 weekend day essential)

We are looking for two enthusiastic and customer-focused Optical Assistants to join our friendly, high‑street practice. With 14 team members, 3 test rooms, and a reputation for offering exceptional patient care in a chilled, non‑micromanaged environment, this is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to grow and develop within optics.

• Providing a warm, professional welcome to all patients
• Dispensing to all levels, including complex prescriptions
• Carrying out pre‑screening and supporting the clinical team
• Assisting with minor eye conditions (MECs) appointments
• Supporting myopia management services
• Helping run one Hearing Care clinic per week
• Ensuring smooth patient flow throughout the store
• Delivering excellent customer service on a busy high street location
• Working collaboratively with the wider team to maintain high standards

• Previous optical experience required
• Confident, approachable, and able to build rapport with patients
• A team player who enjoys working in a relaxed but professional environment
• Someone keen to learn, grow and take on new responsibilities
• Flexibility to work one weekend day each week
