Therapy Support Worker

Although this position is a 9‑month fixed‑term contract, the actual duration will be adjusted to account for time taken to advertise the post, complete the hiring process, and finalise pre‑employment checks. The contract will begin when the candidate starts the role and may be slightly shorter than 9 months.

• Provide clinical and administrative support to the team of qualified occupational therapists and physiotherapists.
• Carry out activities of daily living, exercise programmes and issue relevant equipment.
• Ensure the highest standard of patient care.
• Refer to qualified therapists for guidance and supervision where necessary.
• Assist the therapy team in providing a high standard of service to patients referred from a variety of settings, including patients’ own homes.
• Support the multi‑professional team in the assessment and implementation of treatment programmes and care plans.
