We are transforming North London Foundation Trust Teams in line with the NHS Long Term Plan and the NHS Mental Health Implementation Plan 2019/20 - 2023/24, and are looking for skilled, innovative clinical and counselling psychologists to join us. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of more integrated ways of working in mental health. The transformation of community mental health services aims to break down the barriers to care, by integrating primary and secondary care services and delivering a model that improves access to holistic approaches, for our service users.

Responsibilities

  • Join a multi-disciplinary leadership team to develop and operationally manage an integrated and enhanced community approach to clients experiencing mental health difficulties.
  • Work closely with the Operational and Clinical Leads to ensure the delivery of a high quality, accessible, and inclusive psychological service, well integrated within community teams.
  • Play a key part in the implementation and management of newly developing psychology hubs within each borough to support more effective coordination and delivery of psychological interventions.
  • Draw on a range of psychological approaches to establish psychologically and trauma informed practice within the teams and wider service area.
  • Deliver and oversee interventions, and provide consultation, training and reflective practice as required.
  • Engage in service development, quality improvement, and innovative practice as part of the transformation.
  • Collaborate with other psychological professions and work in partnership with health, social care and the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector (VCS).
  • Be flexible to work at different locations as required to meet the needs of Partnership services.
