Band 6 Occupational Therapist

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Stroke Team at a leading trust in London.

The Trust offers a wide range of services, including emergency care, surgery, maternity, and specialized stroke rehabilitation.

The Trust only works on Direct Engagement Mode of payment.

• Pay rates: £23 to £26 per hour

As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist within the Stroke Team, you will play a pivotal role in the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients recovering from stroke. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive and patient-centred care.

• Conducting specialised assessments and developing personalised rehabilitation plans for patients recovering from stroke.
• Providing hands‑on occupational therapy interventions to help patients regain their functional independence.
• Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
• Educating patients and their families about the rehabilitation process and strategies to support recovery at home.

• Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
• Minimum of one year of neuro experience, preferably within a stroke rehabilitation setting.
• Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• A proactive approach to professional development and continuous learning.
