We’re looking for a Clinical Trials Budget Analyst to join our Business Trial Operations team. This role is key to supporting the setup of new clinical trials by ensuring accurate and timely budget creation and management. You’ll work closely with Business Trial Operations team and with the Study Start-Up Specialists to deliver high-quality financial and administrative support that enables smooth trial initiation.

As a Clinical Trials Budget Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining trial budgets, updating our Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS), and assisting with contract-related tasks. Your work will directly impact the accuracy of sponsor billing and the efficiency of trial start-up processes.

What

You’ll Do
  • Prepare and enter trial budgets into templates and CTMS, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Support budget negotiations with sponsors and follow up on communications with project teams
  • Review protocol amendments for budget impact and implement necessary changes
  • Maintain trackers and spreadsheets to ensure all information is up to date
  • Assist Business Operations teams with budget or contract-related queries
  • Report metrics within agreed time frames and escalating issues as needed
What You’ll Bring
  • Previous experience with budgets and contracts in a clinical trial setting
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in clinical trials is highly desirable
