A vacancy has arisen for a fixed-term (12 months), full-time HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist in our Haematology Department, based at The Halo, 1 Mabledon Place, London.
Main duties of the jobThe successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the day to day running of the Haematology sections and have the opportunity to play an integral part in providing a service of the highest standard to our service users. The successful candidate will be required to participate in the departmental shift system including weekend and bank holiday cover.
The service includes routine Haematology and Coagulation, Haemglobinopathy and Flow Cytometry and there may be an opportunity to work within these sections of the department.

Job responsibilities- Registration with HCPC as Biomedical Scientist
- IBMS Accredited BSc (hons) Biomedical Science or equivalent
- Participation in a relevant CPD Scheme e.g. IBMS
- Theoretical and practical knowledge in discipline of pathology relevant to role.
- Previous experience in a relevant laboratory, and proficiency in techniques appropriate to the discipline.

Depending on experience, up to £52,000 per annum DOE
