Location: Greater London

Parchmore Medical Centre provides GP services to 15,000 patients in Thornton Heath and Haling Park Medical Practice looks after 3,700 patients in South Croydon.

Weare looking for Part Time Patient Coordinators - 24 hours per week

Our first point of contact for patients and to assist patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare. Shiftsare between the hours of 7:45am and 7:00pm Monday to Friday (8:00pm on Tuesdays & Thursdays) plus Saturday afternoons on a rota basis.

Main duties of the job

To provide front of house customer service toall stakeholders with a positive and professional image at all times. Receive, advise and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous,efficient and effective way. Advise and support patients and colleagues in accessing all new technological processes and procedures introduced by the practice.

To provide general administration support to the Practice team, including Doctors and Health Professionals

Job responsibilities

Receive,assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.

Provide general assistance to the Partnership team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone

Qualifications
  • O/GSCE Level qualifications in English & Maths or equivalent
  • A demonstrable commitment to professional development
  • A recognised IT qualification
Experience
  • Previous experience in dealing with the public
  • Previous work experience at a GP Practice
  • Experience of Clinical Systems
Knowledge and Skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
