We need a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The person who gets the job will help people in care homes or who are getting home care services stay healthy, comfortable, and independent. This job lets you make a real impact in people’s lives by giving them tailored attention and help.

• Help clients with things they do every day, like getting dressed, taking care of their personal hygiene, and moving around.
• Help customers keep their independence and self-respect.
• Follow personalised care plans to satisfy each person’s unique requirements and wants.
• Be there for clients and give them emotional support.
• Help with taking medicine as instructed by doctors and nurses
• Keep accurate records of the care you give and let your supervisor know if you have any concerns or if the client’s condition changes.
• Help clients with light household chores, like making meals and cleaning up when needed.

As needed, drive clients to appointments or social events, making sure they get there safely.

• A valid driver’s license and the ability to safely drive customers to appointments or outings
• It would be good to have worked in a care facility or offered home care before, but it’s not necessary; training will be given.
• Good English communication skills, with the ability to listen carefully and talk clearly with clients and coworkers
• Basic computer abilities for keeping correct records and updating care plans
• Kind-hearted and really wanting to help weak people
• Good at organizing things and following thorough care plans
• Great people skills, showing professionalism, compassion, and empathy
