Qualified Social Worker - Adults Learning Disabilities Team

We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker in the Adults Learning Disabilities Team within Tower Hamlets. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team that is growing their social worker staffing levels. • Strong assessment and care planning skills using a strengths-based, person-centred approach
• Sound working knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and its application in adults learning disabilities practice
• Ability to undertake Mental Capacity Act assessments and contribute to best interest decision-making
• Experience of safeguarding adults at risk and managing risk effectively
• Confidence working with individuals with complex needs, including autism, learning disabilities, and dual diagnoses
• Ability to work collaboratively with health professionals, providers, families, and advocates
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to adapt communication methods to meet individual needs
• Competence in managing a varied caseload and prioritising work in a busy statutory environment
• Accurate, timely, and legally compliant case recording skills
• Commitment to equality, diversity, co‑production, and anti‑discriminatory practice

• Social Work England registration
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Social Work qualified (MA/BSc/DipSW/CQSW/MSc/BA)
