We are looking for a dedicated Band 5 Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technician to join our client's team in London. This role involves supporting clinical trials by managing and dispensing trial medications, ensuring compliance with protocols, and maintaining accurate records. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of clinical trials and contribute to advancing medical research.
ResponsibilitiesThe Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medications for clinical trials, maintaining detailed records, and ensuring adherence to trial protocols. This includes liaising with trial coordinators, monitoring inventory levels, and providing support to patients participating in trials. The role also involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and contributing to the development of standard operating procedures.
Qualifications and Experience- Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmacy Council (GPhC)
- Experience in hospital pharmacy settings
- Desirable:
Experience in clinical trials - Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in using pharmacy management systems
- Commitment to continuous professional development
