We are seeking clinicians to join our multidisciplinary team and contribute to vital Autism and ADHD assessments on a contract basis.
About the roleThis role involves providing high-quality diagnostic assessment services for a diverse client group of children and young people aged 6‑18 years. Clients are sourced through GP referrals, NHS and national service contracts, school commissions, and private clients. You will conduct evidence‑based diagnostic assessments using tools such as the Young DIVA, DSM‑5, and ICD‑11, and deliver formal clinical reports with clear diagnoses and recommendations.
Keyresponsibilities
- Plan, conduct, and interpret neurodevelopmental assessments for children and young people.
- Produce high‑quality clinical reports outlining diagnoses and recommendations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to reach agreement on diagnostic outcomes.
- Maintain accurate client records and participate in relevant clinical practice meetings.
- Triage new referrals for appropriate onward action and risk identification.
Day rate: £450–£550 per day (8 hours), DOE.

Variable and flexible.
Contract:
Temporary, variable contracts available.
- Active HCPC, NMC, GMC, or relevant professional body registration.
- CPD‑accredited training in ADHD and experience in delivery of ADHD assessments.
- Proficiency in DSM‑5 and other diagnostic tools relevant to ADHD (Autism not essential).
- Experience conducting neuro‑developmental assessments focusing on ADHD.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including clear, neuro‑affirming report writing.
- Experience reviewing and triaging clinical information for assessment allocation.
- Familiarity with online assessments and face‑to‑face assessments is an advantage.
