Salary

£50,000 – £60,000 (dependent on experience).

Hours & Contract

37.5 hours per week;
Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–4:30 pm. Permanent, 52 weeks.

Position Overview

The Lead Clinician will manage the in‑house clinical team at Brick Lane School, promote high‑quality practice and maintain a therapy caseload. The role requires clinical leadership, service development and close collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Regional Clinical Lead.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and line‑manage the onsite clinical team.
  • Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex neuro‑divergent and developmental trauma profiles.
  • Support implementation of EHCP plans, OFG/All group work and individual clinical pathways.
  • Coordinate service development with the SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.
  • Produce clear, concise clinical and research reports.
  • Provide supervision and support to the therapy team.
  • Maintain safeguarding culture and uphold pupil rights and well‑being.
Essential Criteria
  • BSc/MSc in Speech & Language or Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration with HCPC, RCSLT (for OT) or professional body such as BPS.
  • Experience working with autistic or complex needs individuals.
  • Strong report‑writing skills.
  • Experience supervising and supporting a therapy team.
  • Ability to work independently and within a growing clinical service.
  • Experience in multi‑professional settings preferred.
