Abbots Care is an award‑winning domiciliary care company in Hertfordshire with a CQC rating of outstanding. Our community‑based care assistants provide care to our service users within their own homes to help them remain as independent as possible.

Pay rates are £13.00 per hour on weekdays and £15.00 per hour on weekends. Working hours are between 7 am and 10 pm with shift patterns of 7 am‑2 pm and 4 pm‑10 pm, including alternate weekends. Zero‑hour contracts are available as well as part‑time and full‑time contracts of up to 40 hours per week, with an annual salary of £26,665.60 (£12.82 per hour) for full‑time roles.

• Providing support and care for service users within their own homes.
• Supporting and assisting with personal care.
• Preparing meals and performing associated domestic tasks.
• Administering medication.
• Supporting service users with their hobbies and social interests.

• Competitive rates of £13.00 on weekdays and £16.00 on weekends for a zero‑hour contract.
• Up to 40 hours per week available at £12.82 per hour on weekdays and £15.00 on weekends.
• Paid mileage of 40p per mile.
• Paid training, DBS checks and ongoing opportunities for additional training and progression, including Level 2 and 3 Diplomas.
• Access to a new wellbeing app for carers to discuss any concerns with our trained mental‑health team.

• Full driving licence and access to a personal vehicle; the role is community‑based in and around Watford.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
