Senior Pharmacy Technician – Cancer & Technical Services

Senior Pharmacy Technician to assist the Lead Technician in managing the Technical Services unit, deputising in their absence, and supporting the expansion of Cancer and Chemotherapy services.

• Help manage operational aspects of technical services, ensuring safe, efficient delivery aligned with local, national and regional QA requirements.
• Assist in monitoring performance and quality of services to the cancer specialty.
• Work closely with the Lead Technician in developing all operational aspects of technical services.
• Support training and development within the forward‑thinking Technical Services department.

• Experienced Pharmacy Technician, preferably with hospital pharmacy production unit experience.
• Strong communication skills, self‑motivated and enthusiastic.
• Knowledge of aseptic processes and good manufacturing practice.
• Desire to build on managerial skills – capable of deputising and leading when required.
