St Andrews Medical Practice has an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to join our growing, friendly support team. The position is for 37.5hours per week. We are looking for someone who is passionate about patient care, is a good team player who is able to support patients on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role for at least 1 years and will be EMIS trained, We are looking for a confident candidate who has an excellent telephone manner and is able to thrive under pressure.

Main duties of the job:
Your duties will include answering telephone calls , registering patients, prescriptions and general admin within the Practice. There will also be online training . It is very important to have a 'can do' attitude. It is also important to be flexible and cover shifts when required.

2 partners, 5 salaried doctors, 4 practice nurses, 1 Clinical Pharmacist
Nurse trainees, GP registrars and medical students

CQC rated good throughout and excellent for leadership

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
COVID-19 considerations:
All staff and patients wear Personal Protective Equipment, we have protective screens in place and staff are regularly tested.

Person Specification Experience- Ideally 1year previous receptionist experience
- Ideally the candidate will have EMIS experience
