Trainer/Project Advisor - Oliver McGowan Training Hub

Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

A rare opportunity to play a leading role in improving the experience of people with a learning disability and autistic people across North East London. We are looking for an experienced learning disability and/or autism practitioner who is passionate about high‑quality, values‑driven education and who wants to use and further develop their project and leadership skills alongside their clinical expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Project Lead to establish and deliver the North East London Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training Hub.
  • Plan, coordinate and improve a complex training programme while staying connected to the real‑life experiences of people with learning disabilities and/or autistic people.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure work streams are set up for success, supporting the team and experts with lived experience operationally and pastorally from recruitment through delivery and debrief.
  • Collaborate with system and local Trust partners to achieve integration.
Qualifications
  • Experience delivering education in the NHS.
  • Proficiency working with people with learning disabilities and autism.
  • Strong knowledge of the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training programme.
  • Background in project delivery, system working and service improvement.
