Occupational Therapist Adult Social Care Local Authority located in North East London
Contract:
Full-time | Initial 3‑6 months with potential for extension
A local authority located in North East London is looking to recruit an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a well structured team.
The client offers flexible working, a fair caseload, and professional development. This role is ideal for candidates seeking impact‑driven work in adult social care and reablement services.
Main Duties- Experience required working with Adults
- Reviewing care packages and provision of moving and handling equipment.
- Complete Care Act assessments
- Assess individuals and carers with complex needs in the home environment
- Recommend and coordinate equipment and adaptations
- Undertake manual handling assessments
- Work in line with safeguarding procedures, promoting dignity and respect
- Minimum 2 years post‑qualified experience
- Previous experience as a community‑based Occupational Therapist
- Manual handling expertise
- HCPC Registration
- Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can assist)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Must have own vehicle and full UK driving licence
- Hybrid working - occasional office visits only
- Ongoing training and development
- Flexible work environment
- Free on‑site parking (where applicable)
