About the jobAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join our supported housing services in Wandsworth. The service has 30 units of accommodation across 5 sites. This role will operate across our various levels of supported housing, including a flexible threshold unit that adopts a harm reduction approach with flexible tolerance toward drug use.
You will be part of a team providing support to residents in the service and will be required to work on a rota basis that includes every other weekend. The service is set up to support residents to stabilise their substance use, focusing on harm reduction whilst improving independent living skills and achieving their individual goals.
As a keyworker, you would keywork not less than two residents, providing support and advice through regular planned keywork sessions. In addition, you would work closely with our partner organisations to ensure that the residents receive support tailored to their needs. You would also contribute to the running of in‑house groups and sessions as well as external activities and days out.
Keyresponsibilities
- Provide support to residents across supported housing units.
- Work on a rota basis, including every other weekend.
- Stabilise residents' substance use and promote harm reduction.
- Improve residents' independent living skills and help them achieve personal goals.
- Deliver keyworker sessions for at least two residents.
- Collaborate with partner organisations for tailored support.
- Contribute to in‑house groups, sessions, external activities and days out.
- Experience providing support to people with multiple disadvantages.
- Experience working in a supported housing setting would be advantageous.
- Commitment to positive outcomes for residents.
