12 Months Fixed Term Contract / Secondment Opportunity

Hackney Council is looking for an exceptional Community Safety and Enforcement Principal Enforcement Officer (PEO) within our Community Safety, Enforcement and Business Regulation Service in a 1-year Fixed Term Contract.

• Case management under pressure and wide range of enforcement duties in relation to Noise, Community Safety, Anti-Social Behaviour, Street Scene and environmental enforcement (Fly tipping, Graffiti, Fly posting, Littering, Highway obstructions etc.) and wider general public realm enforcement as required.
• Assign wards to address localised problems, challenging and changing behaviours to contribute to the achievement of the Mayor's priorities and the Council's corporate objectives.
• Deal with complainants and victims of Anti-Social Behaviour skillfully and sensitively, listen to concerns, manage expectations and maintain accurate service-specific records to ensure compliance with reporting obligations.

• Experience in effective case management in some of the enforcement areas mentioned above and the ability to transfer those skills.
• Ability to deal with complainants and victims of Anti Social Behaviour skillfully and sensitively and manage expectations.
• Maintain accurate service-specific records and proactively approach the role, be driven and have excellent communication skills.
