Location: Lynton House, Ilford
Redbridge – Community Protection and Regulatory Services
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Licensing officer to join our successful and established Licensing Team. You will play a key role in ensuring that licensed premises and activities operate lawfully, safely and in a way that supports our communities and local economy.
Permanent – Full Time
Responsibilities- Administering and enforcing a range of Licensing functions under the Licensing Act 2003 and other relevant legislation.
- Working closely with residents, businesses, responsible authorities, and elected members.
- Delivering licensing enforcement activities as part of a busy front-line team and collaborating with internal and external partners to achieve outstanding results.
- Engaging with partners to ensure licensing standards are maintained and community impact is considered.
- Experience and knowledge in the field of licensing enforcement.
- Commitment to the key values of the organisation, with a proactive and capable approach.
- Ability to work as part of a busy front-line team and to collaborate with internal and external partners.
- This position requires a full UK driving licence.
- Flexibility for weekend and evening duties.
