Job Title:
Interim Head of Finance (12 Month Maternity Cover)

Location: London. Ideally starting early May

Contract: Fixed-term 12 months

Our client (a fast growth SaaS business which is doing very well) is seeking an experienced Interim Head of Finance to lead their finance function during a maternity cover period. Reporting to the CEO and managing a small team, the successful candidate will oversee financial operations while supporting strategic decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function, including financial accounting and FP&A
• Manage and develop a small finance team
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Deliver reporting and insights to the CEO, board, and investors
• Support commercial decision-making, pricing, and growth initiatives
• Oversee finance operations, compliance, and audit processes
• Manage cash flow, treasury, and working capital

About You

• ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified accountant
• Background in a top accounting firm (ideally)
• Experience in scaling businesses, ideally SaaS or tech
• Strong understanding of SaaS metrics and financial drivers
• Commercial mindset with the ability to work closely with senior leadership
• Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
