Commercial Finance Manager / Financial Controller – Michelin-Starred Restaurant Group

We are seeking a hands-on Commercial Finance Manager/Financial Controller to be the heartbeat of a renowned London restaurant group. You’ll work closely with a high-net-worth owner to stabilise and shape a portfolio of four Michelin-starred / high-end restaurants.

• Working pattern & location: 4 days per week in Central London office, Berkeley Square, W1J 6BD

A discreet, premium hospitality group with four Michelin-starred restaurants in London, known for exceptional guest experience, standards and a global clientele. Pace is high, expectations are higher, and relationships are everything.

• Own day-to-day finance: reporting, cashflow, controls and compliance
• Act as commercial partner on menus, margins, covers and performance
• Manage external relationships (HMRC, local councils, banks, advisors) and key internal stakeholders (chefs, GMs, owners)
• Qualified Accountant or vastly experienced in restaurant finance.
• Proven hospitality finance leadership — hands‑on experience running end‑to‑end finance for multi‑site restaurants (cashflow, inventory, margins, management accounts, supplier relationships).
• Strong compliance & regulatory capability — confident dealing with HMRC (VAT/PAYE), local councils (business rates), banks (KYC), auditors and external finance partners.
• Commercial and stakeholder excellence — able to partner with chefs, GMs and UHNW owners, solve operational issues quickly, and maintain trusted relationships across a high‑pressure, premium hospitality environment.

This is a highly hands-on, influence-heavy role: you’ll shape the finance function, work directly with UHNW stakeholders and gain true end-to-end ownership of a hospitality group.
