Financial Accountant - Investment Operations, Mid-Market Private Equity Fund

Overview

Our client, a growing European mid-market private equity firm is currently looking to hire a Financial Accountant to join its London based investment operations team. Since its inception, the firm has invested over ₠1 billion across select investment themes across multiple jurisdictions. The firm is currently performing well - experiencing increasing levels of deal activity and is now looking to strengthen its investment services function to support throughout this current period of growth and beyond.

As the Financial Accountant, you will be imperative to providing support throughout the deal life cycle whilst working closely with the deal teams, IR, Legal and Finance.

• Investment administration and transaction support
• Bookkeeping and preparation of monthly reconciliations for investment holdings
• Coordination of KYC checks for investors
• Maintaining company secretarial records and filings
• Liaison with external company administrators for UK, Lux and Guernsey
• Investor cash flow forecasting and quarterly valuations
• Collating board materials and investment documentation

• Relevant investment operations, bookkeeping, or accounting experience
• Previous experience gained within the financial services industry would be an advantage
• Awareness of company secretarial reporting requirements
• Exposure to private equity would be advantageous but not essential
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Non or Part-Qualfied towards accounting qualification
• Study support available for those looking to pursue an accounting qualification
