The Crypto Operations team supports the front office trading and sales functions across digital asset markets. The department is responsible for the operational management of trade flows across exchanges, OTC counter parties and custodians, ensuring accurate trade capture, settlement, reconciliation and reporting.

The team works closely with Trading, Sales, Compliance, Finance, Risk, Technology and external partners to ensure operational efficiency, strong controls and regulatory compliance across the digital asset trading lifecycle.

Role Summary

To provide full and comprehensive operational support to Crypto Traders and Sales staff globally, ensuring the smooth execution, settlement, reconciliation and lifecycle management of crypto trades. The role is responsible for maintaining operational control, supporting regulatory and risk requirements, and ensuring that internal processes are adhered to at all times within a fast-paced digital asset trading environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support to Crypto Trading and Sales teams globally.
• Ensure accurate trade capture, validation and lifecycle management of crypto trades across internal systems and external platforms.
• Monitor and manage trade settlement across exchanges, OTC counter parties, wallets and custodians.
• Perform daily reconciliations of positions, balances and transactions across trading platforms, internal systems and custodians.
• Investigate and resolve trade breaks, settlement issues and reconciliation discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Liaise with exchanges, brokers, custodians and liquidity providers to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth trade processing.
• Maintain operational records and documentation in line with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in monitoring wallet balances, transfers and blockchain transactions where required.
• Support the onboarding of new trading venues, custodians and counter parties from an operational perspective
• Work closely with Technology teams to improve system functionality, automation and operational efficiency.
• Identify operational risks and contribute to the improvement of controls, processes and procedures.
• Assist with operational reporting, metrics and management information.
• Support new product launches, new asset listings and operational projects within the digital asset business.
• Participate in testing of new systems, trading tools and operational workflows.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, compliance requirements and regulatory standards.

Skills and Experience

• Good knowledge of crypto and digital asset markets
• Understanding of crypto trade lifecycle and middle office processes
• Experience supporting trading desks or financial markets operations
• Familiarity with crypto exchanges, custodians and blockchain transaction processes
• Problem solving and analytical skills
