Financial Assistant

Prior experience:at least 2 years working ina finance team, ideally within an entertainment or media environment

Leading entertainment agency is looking for a Finance professional to join the existing Finance Team.

This role incorporates a unique blend of general accounting and industry – specific tasks related to talent payments and royalties.

This is an opportunity for a proactive and organised Finance professional with a minimum two years’ experience working in a finance team to build a solid career within one of the country’s leading entertainment agencies.

The role will involve:

• Managing client payments:
  
  Reconciling artist/talent account balances and ensuring timely and accurate payouts.
• Bookkeeping and invoicing:
  
  Entering financial data, processing invoices, and helping prepare client invoices.
• Communication:
  Excellent written and verbal skills dealing with clients, agents, managers and other companies
• Compliance:
  
  Tracking foreign tax compliance and VAT payments.

Forensic attention to detail, excellent numeracy as well as a high level of proficiency in Excel is a necessity and previous experience of Tagmin or another artists system is helpful.
