Investor Relations Analyst - Leading Hedge Fund

Out client, a market leading, multi-billion dollar AUM Hedge Fund, are making a newly created Investor Relations hire in London.

The role is available as the current incumbent is moving internally into an outright marketing seat - this is a backfill.

Whilst the role has an investor relations remit that will broaden with time and success in the role, candidates should consider that they will have ownership for a variety of tasks that support London fundraisers from day one (responsibilities around due diligence, DDQ, investment content, marketing materials etc.) and that project / automation work will form a component of the person’s activities (often working with in-house tech and risk development teams on process improvement projects / buildouts) - the hire can expect to learn some advanced tech skills in the role.

Candidates should have 1-3yrs experience in a buy-side investor relations / client services role, operations / trade support or fund accounting (we could also consider candidates from a fund administration background). Very strong academics are required. Some form of advanced tech skills are also required (advanced excel as an absolute minimum).

The role is paying up to an £85k base salary - it has the budget to offer the successful hire a very attractive step up on their current base salary. The firm have a performance driven culture and so a strong performer should expect to receive a very large % of this number as a year-end bonus.
