Head of FP&A

Goodman Masson are partnering with a private equity-backed, multi-site operational business undergoing a period of transformation and growth following recent investment.

The organisation is building a more data-driven performance culture, strengthening financial planning capabilities and improving decision support across the group.

The Head of FP&A will play a central role in leading financial planning, forecasting and performance insight, partnering closely with operational and development teams to support strategic growth and operational decision making.

• Lead Group budgeting, forecasting and long‑term planning, including ownership of the 5‑year financial model.
• Deliver performance insight through weekly and monthly trading analysis, identifying risks and opportunities across the portfolio.
• Develop robust cash flow forecasting processes and support treasury planning and liquidity management.
• Provide investment analysis and capital allocation support across refurbishments, new sites and growth initiatives.
• Build scalable FP&A and BI capability, developing dashboards, KPIs and data‑driven performance reporting.

• FP&A leadership experience within a private equity‑backed, multi‑site or operationally complex business.
• Strong financial modelling, planning and analytical capability with experience building reporting frameworks.
• Experience working with BI tools (e.g. Power BI) and improving data‑driven decision making.
• Commercially minded with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insight for operational teams.
• Hands‑on, proactive and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
