• Lead Finance Business Partnering for key programmes and functions, acting as a trusted advisor in all financial decisions.
• Ensure DCC delivers value for money in line with Ofgem and DESNZ regulatory expectations.
• Develop and review business cases, contracts, and performance analyses to maintain strong financial control and alignment to the approved cost envelope.
• Collaborate with FP&A to deliver robust forecasts, reporting, and contribute to the transition to Service Family reporting.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Finance Business Partners, ensuring high performance and effective financial management.

• Proven experience influencing at Director or Executive level, with confidence managing demanding stakeholders.
• Strong leadership capability, with experience motivating and developing finance teams.
• Expertise in financial planning, forecasting, and building advanced financial models and reporting.
• Solid understanding of financial governance, controls, and risk/opportunity analysis.
• A recognised accounting qualification (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent).
