Corporate Tax Manager

A very well-established, award-winning firm of chartered accountants and tax advisers is seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to join its growing Financial Services tax team. The role focuses on delivering proactive corporation tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients, including owner-managed businesses and complex groups operating within the Financial Services sector. This is a client-facing position within a collaborative and progressive environment.

• Proven experience managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients, including group structures
• Ideally CTA qualified
• Strong client-facing skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word);
  Alpha Tax knowledge advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to identify tax planning opportunities and potential risk areas

• Manage the corporation tax compliance process for a portfolio of standalone and group corporate clients
• Provide tax advisory support on matters including corporate structuring (companies, LLPs), reorganisations, group tax planning, international issues, venture capital reliefs, acquisitions and disposals, and tax due diligence
• Identify and implement tax-efficient opportunities in collaboration with partners
• Oversee billing and work in progress for assigned portfolio
• Line manage and support the development, training and appraisal of junior team members
• Contribute to business development initiatives, including networking and participation in sector-focused groups
