Commodities Credit Risk Analyst

Our client, a leading commodities trading firm, is looking for a Credit Risk Analyst to join their team in London.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Support credit risk activities across LNG transactions, with potential exposure to gas and power products
• Monitor counter party credit exposures and identify emerging risks or limit breaches
• Perform financial statement analysis and prepare credit assessments and counter party reviews
• Assist in recommending credit limits and appropriate risk mitigants in line with internal credit policies
• Maintain accurate credit data and exposure reporting within risk management systems

You will need to have the following:

• Experience in credit risk, counter party risk, or financial analysis, ideally within energy, commodities, trading, or banking
• Exposure to energy markets (LNG, gas, or power) is advantageous but not essential
• Strong understanding of financial statements and credit risk analysis fundamentals
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with complex data
