Compliance Executive – Advisory (12-Month FTC)

I’m currently supporting a well‑established London Market insurer with the appointment of a Compliance Executive (Advisory) on a 12-month FTC.

This is a broad advisory role sitting within the Compliance function, supporting the Head of Compliance and wider business in ensuring activities are conducted within risk appetite and in line with regulatory and legislative requirements.

• Provide clear, practical compliance advice to the business
• Advise on international sanctions, trade restrictions, Lloyd’s licensing & financial crime risk
• Support post-bind screening of insureds and claimants
• Review and maintain policies & procedures
• Identify, analyse and escalation breaches/incidents
• Support regulatory change monitoring and impact analysis
• Assist with TOBAs / intermediary trading relationship framework
• Deliver compliance training (e-learning & face‑to‑face)

• Minimum 2+ years’ Insurance / London Market experience
• Experience handling technical regulatory queries (sanctions & licensing exposure highly desirable)
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across Underwriting, Legal, Risk & Operations
• Confident in providing constructive challenge where required
• Organised, commercially aware and solutions-focused
