We’re recruiting on behalf of our client, a well established organisation within the not for profit and membership sector, for a Finance Assistant to join their collaborative finance team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with solid transactional finance experience who is looking to develop their skills within a structured and supportive environment.
💥 As a Finance Assistant, you will:- Process purchase invoices and ensure accurate coding to the ledger
- Manage supplier payments and reconcile supplier statements
- Raise sales invoices and support credit control processes
- Process staff expenses and corporate card reconciliations
- Assist with bank reconciliations and cashbook postings
- Support month end and year end finance processes
- Maintain accurate financial records and audit trails
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or similar role
- Strong purchase ledger and sales ledger experience
- Experience using Sage, Xero or similar accounting software
- Good Excel skills including formulas and basic reporting
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
