** About the Role
** The Bank Loans Servicing department is looking for a Loan Administrator to join their team. It is a growing department that offers loans expertise and support to its varied client base.
The team is responsible for providing daily loan operational support, end to end, from trade capture, processing of loan servicing and loan lifecycle events, cash and position management, wire processing, ad hoc loan events together with an in depth focus on building client relationships.
Our clients are engaged in a variety of investment products, including direct lending, syndicated loans, infrastructure loans and CLO’s with a heavy focus on the trading of primary and secondary syndicated loans.
** Your Responsibilities
** The successful candidate will work within a dedicated team to provide daily bank loan services, utilising SS&C tailored internal systems. They will have responsibility for deal, position and cash management as well as completing internal and external reporting requirements. Some of the key duties are listed below:
* Work together with the bank loan closing team to on board / implement new clients.
* Process agent notices daily.
* Work to process deal restructurings in the SS&C systems and agree new positions with client.
* Manage wire initiation and client approval of same.
* Position and cash reconciliation.
* Complete GoCheck tasks daily, weekly or monthly as appropriate.
* Input static data as necessary for non-syndicated transactions.
* Load amortisation and margin schedules.
* Monitor trade capture and action on failed trades.
* Complete month end tasks and provide relevant month end packages to client and internal SS&C departments. Settle trades in internal SS&C systems.
* Address client queries in relation to P/L, life cycle events, payments and trade settlements.
** Your Experience
*** Bachelors degree in Finance or related discipline.
* Financial services industry experience in Bank Loan Servicing working for a bank, hedge fund, administrator, or prime broker.
* Understanding of loans including life cycle events, trade closing mechanics and economics, market settlement conventions, Credit Agreements and their operational mechanics (i.e. funds flows, ticking fees, paydowns, drawdowns, Affiliate language etc.)
* Knowledge of Geneva and WSO would be an advantage.
* Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Exceptional client relationship management skills.
