Director of Operations

Director of Investment Operations and Reporting – Financial Services – Up to £185,000 per annum + Benefits

London / Hybrid

We are partnering with a specialist retirement and life insurance provider seeking a Director of Investment Operations and Reporting on a permanent basis. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day investment operations, lead change initiatives, and drive process improvements across both Middle Office and Back Office functions.

You will also be responsible for short-term liquidity risk management, including developing and implementing the risk framework and policies governing liquidity. In addition, you will manage and report on derivative and reinsurance collateral, ensuring accurate monitoring, compliance, and robust governance.

• Oversee day-to-day investment operations across Middle Office and Back Office functions.
• Lead change initiatives and drive process improvements.
• Manage short-term liquidity risk, including developing and implementing risk framework and policies.
• Manage and report on derivative and reinsurance collateral with accurate monitoring, compliance, and governance.

• Proven leadership experience delivering change within Middle and Back Office investment operations.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with senior and C-suite stakeholders.
• Essential qualifications in accounting or actuarial disciplines.
• Experience with in the life insurance, pensions, or asset management sectors.
