Interim Finance Director

Camino Search is supporting a fast-growing B2B AI software and services business. The business is seeking an experienced Interim Finance Director to provide financial leadership and drive operational efficiency for a 6 to 9-month contract.

This role would suit an individual who is proven as a number one in finance, working directly with investors. The role is a very hands‑on position where the correct individual will drive processes regarding financial excellence, including running the finance function and building out the board reporting.

• Lead all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and board.
• Oversee accounting, tax, compliance, and audit processes.
• Lead investor relations and external stakeholder management e.g. due diligence, debt reporting and management
• Implement and optimize financial systems and processes to support scalability.
• Partner with department heads to align financial planning with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

• Proven experience as a Finance Director or senior finance leader in a B2B SaaS or tech company
• Strong understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, etc.).
• Private Equity and boardroom experience
• End‑to‑end M&A experience
• Hands‑on approach with the ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
