We are seeking a Senior Development Finance Analyst to act as the lead finance business partner for our property development activities across the South region and our strategic land portfolio. This is a pivotal role providing expert financial insight across both private sale and affordable housing schemes, ensuring informed investment decisions, robust governance, and effective commercial risk management throughout the entire development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary finance partner for regional development teams across private sale and affordable housing schemes Produce high-quality, timely management reporting for an active portfolio of development projects Represent Finance at monthly scheme progress meetings and cross-functional stakeholder forums Support commercial investment decisions through financial modelling, appraisal reviews, due diligence, and preparation of investment papers Evaluate financial, tax, and commercial risks using sensitivity and scenario analysis, recommending mitigation strategies Maintain strong financial control and ensure compliance with governance, audit, and regulatory frameworks Build strong and collaborative relationships across Development and Finance, acting as a trusted advisor Respond to regional management accounting queries and support wider cross-regional initiatives when required Experience & Skills Qualified accountant (or equivalent professional qualification) Proven experience in property development finance, including investment appraisal and mixed-tenure modelling Advanced analytical skills with strong Excel capability Solid understanding of the UK residential property market;

experience with strategic land is desirable Strong track record of accurate, timely management reporting In-depth understanding of development-related commercial and technical risks Ability to work autonomously within a regional structure and manage multiple stakeholders effectively Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships This requires 2-3 days in the office based in Camden, NW1
