We are supporting a high-growth and private equity backed scale up seeking to appoint a Group Financial Controller. This is an excellent opportunity to support a growing business to define, establish and scale the finance function and ensuring it remains fit for purpose throughout its planned expansion over the next few years. This is a broad, hands-on and newly created 'number 2' role that will support an experienced Chief Financial Officer.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Managing the in sourcing of the finance operations functions
• Setting up new processes, establishing controls, and implementing tools and systems as the company grows
• Running an efficient month and quarter-end close process
• Managing the integration of new acquisitions
• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Preparation of the annual statutory accounts
• Assisting with annual audit process
• Managing a direct report

The successful candidate will be an ACA qualified accountant having trained in a reputable accounting firm and working as a Senior Financial Accountant, Finance Manager or Financial Controller in a growth business in the UK. Experience with in the music industry or working for a private equity-backed company would be helpful but not essential.
