Group Financial Controller

Central London offices – office based role

Up to £100,000 DOE + benefits

My client is a leading and award winning hospitality group in central London; they have realistic and achievable growth targets for the next few years and are looking for a new Group financial Controller who can join them on this very exciting journey. The Group Financial Controller will strengthen financial operations, enhance reporting, and build scalable processes to support continued expansion.

• Full ownership of the finance function across multiple sites and head office
• Lead the month-end close process and deliver accurate, insightful management accounts
• Prepare P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and capex reporting with clear variance analysis
• Produce and manage weekly cash flow forecasts
• Oversee audit, statutory reporting, and tax compliance (including VAT, payroll, and corporation tax)
• Maintain and strengthen financial controls and processes
• Lead, develop, and mentor a small finance team
• Drive systems improvement, including finance system implementation
• Partner with operational teams to improve performance and profitability
• Contribute to board reporting and strategic decision-making

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Significant experience in hospitality or multi-site retail
• Proven experience operating at Financial Controller level in a growing and scaling business
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Commercially minded with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insight
• Confident communicator with strong presentation skills
