Senior VAT in-house Manager

A really varied and interesting senior VAT role with this exciting household brand in the digital space. Reporting to the Head of VAT and working as part of a wider tax team you will be at the forefront of advising on UK indirect tax issues and managing VAT risk and compliance. Specifically this will involve M&A work, dealing with the VAT treatment of new products, managing the outsourced compliance and liaising with HMRC.

The role is high profile and requires extensive VAT technical knowledge, a highly commercial approach and the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders. The role has an advisory focus with some compliance management - this could be a good first step into an in-house role for someone in an advisory firm, or an attractive role for an in-house advisor looking for a really interesting role in an ever changing business.
