Accounting Assistant

Position: Accounting Assistant (Permanent)
Location: Greater London

As an Accounting Assistant, you will join a supportive finance team responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist with the preparation and processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.

* Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

* Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.

* Maintain accurate financial records and assist with data entry.

* Work closely with accountants to produce financial reports and ensure compliance with regulations.

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.

* Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, Quick Books) is an advantage.

* Good organisational and communication skills.

* A proactive and professional approach with a willingness to learn.
