Purpose of the Job

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Applications Specialist to join our financial services organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing our new Netsuite system including Suite Projects Pro (formerly Open Air) and work closely with our technology and finance teams to implement best practice and improve automation capabilities as we deploy Netsuite with Suite Projects Pro across our group of companies.

Responsibilities
  • Expert knowledge in Netsuite with proven experience in implementation, systems migration and ensuring best practice is followed
  • Experience with the deployment and configuration of Suite Projects Pro (formerly Open Air) in a professional services environment.
  • Process Improvement:
    Identify, analyse, and implement process improvements within the finance team to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Team Environment:
    Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Change Management:
    Manage the change process, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure the successful delivery of finance implementation projects.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the progress and impact of initiatives.

    Risk Management:

    Ensure all financial operations comply with relevant regulations and internal policies, mitigating risks associated with activities.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Educated to degree level with relevant industry qualifications or demonstrable experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in finance systems implementations within the financial services and / or professional services industry.
  • Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience with Netsuite and Suite Projects Pro (Formerly Open Air)
  • Experience with using Alteryx for data migration activities
  • Proven track record of delivering successful finance implementation projects.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced and changing environment.
