Location: Greater London

This market leading, independent, asset manager who manage both fixed income and equity strategies globally, are currently seeking an Investment Analytics Analyst to join their team. Suited to candidates with around 1-3 years' relevant industry experience, you will be primarily responsible for providing analytical support to the Fixed Income Portfolio Managers and help to maintain and accelerate investment analytics capability. The role would suit an individual who brings strong quantitative, qualitative and systems capability.

Responsibilities
  • Responsibility for successful delivery of equity and fixed income performance measurement, analytics and risk stats, with a strong focus on fixed income analytics.
  • Use of Sylvan and Fact Set performance and analytics systems to produce periodic and ad hoc performance reporting and analytics.
  • Use of Fact Set PA3 to produce accurate and insightful monthly performance and attribution reporting, especially for fixed income; and to answer ad-hoc requests.
  • Full understanding of fixed income analytics model and subject matter expert, confidence explaining model and results to Investment professionals.
  • Ongoing liaison with portfolio managers to identify and explain drivers of investment performance.
  • Ongoing liaison with Client Services to assist with meeting client reporting, new business development and marketing requirements.
  • Ownership of continuous process improvement within the Investment Analytics team.
Background experience
  • Degree in Mathematics or Statistics is preferred.
  • IMC and/or CFA advantageous
  • Advanced Excel
  • Fact Set knowledge essential.
  • SQL/VBA advantageous
  • Knowledge of Fixed Income mathematics.
  • Knowledge of performance, attribution and benchmarks.
  • Numerate; solid analytical and research skills;
  • Excellent problem solving skills;
  • Strong oral, written and presentation skills;
