Financial Accountant - High-Growth Property Group (City of London) Salary up to £70,000 + excellent career progression

I'm working exclusively with a fast‑growing, highly entrepreneurial property investment and development group based in the City of London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) to join a multi‑faced property business operating across investment, development and student housing, with exposure to a large and diverse portfolio of companies.

The role offers real responsibility, commercial involvement and genuine long‑term progression within a business that continues to scale rapidly.

You will take a hands‑on position within the finance team, responsible for statutory and management accounts across a large group structure, while supporting the wider business with reporting, compliance and forecasting.

• Preparation of statutory and management accounts across a multi‑company portfolio
• Quarterly consolidations with commentary
• VAT returns including partial exemption calculations
• Corporation tax review and support with tax planning
• Preparation of audit files and liaison with auditors
  
  Budgeting and forecasting
• Bank covenant compliance and payment authorisations
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Financial reporting for rental and investment properties

You will be working closely with senior finance leadership and operational teams, gaining broad commercial exposure.

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Strong statutory and management accounts experience
• Comfortable working in a hands‑on, fast‑moving environment
• Strong Excel skills
• Confident communicating across finance and non‑finance teams
• Detail‑focused with a commercial mindset

Property or group company experience is beneficial but not essential.
