Chalk Hill Group are supporting a Global Financial Services business, based in London, in their search for a Regulatory Reporting Accountant.
You will produce financial reporting aligned with US GAAP and deliver regulatory reporting that meets UK regulatory requirements.
You will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations, preparing and submitting accurate, timely and complete reports, while continuously identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review cashflows to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including FCA requirements and SOX for US companies
- Stay up to date with regulatory and reporting changes that may affect financial reporting obligations
- Develop, implement and enhance regulatory reporting processes
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve reporting efficiency
- Prepare regulatory submissions including, FCA returns, MIFIDPRU 8 disclosures, and the ICARA process
- Regulatory capital and liquidity modelling
- Support the preparation of statutory financial statements in compliance with relevant standards
- Partner with external auditors to ensure smooth and timely audits
- Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent international accounting qualification
- In-depth knowledge of FCA reporting requirements and UK financial services regulations
- Proven experience managing FCA reporting and regulatory compliance
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP / IFRS
- Experience liaising directly with regulatory bodies
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with Oracle Financial Systems
Hybrid working on offer - 4 days a week in the office, 1 day a week at home
